Frequently Asked Questions

How do the Murder Mysteries work?

Once inside our doors, you will meet and talk with the show’s crazy characters — then, witness a crime that you might help solve!   Enjoy our made-to-order entrees that are brought to your table with top-notch service, drinks and dessert and laugh along with our zany detective as he interrogates the suspects with your clues.   It’s family fun — appropriate for all ages.
Remember: every show is different every time — so come again!

Do you take reservations?

Yes, in fact, we strongly encourage reservations as we often sell out.  We do our best to accept walk ins, but can not always guarantee seating, especially for larger parties.  First come, first serve for the best seats.

Do I need to hold my tickets with a credit card?

Yes, we do take a credit card when making your reservation, however we know that things do happen beyond your control and sometimes you can not attend due to change in work schedule, unexpected event, etc.  With that in mind, we have created a way for you to purchase tickets and still have the ability to change your reservation if needed.  If you purchase a ticket and your plans change, you may always switch your tickets to another show of comparable price providing you notify the box office by 2 pm the day of your show.

How do I  make a reservation?

The easiest way to make a reservation is right here on our website. Simply go to the home page and click on GET TICKETS.  You will be prompted to select the date and show of choice and directed to a secure site for payment.  Upon arriving at the theater, enter our express lane for those who have purchased tickets online and avoid the line for those waiting to pay.  If you have a gift certificate, some form of discounted offer, or just prefer to speak with someone in our box office for reservations, dial 423-517-1839.

What are the Box Office hours?

Box Office hours: 11 am-4 pm Tue/Wed   Thu/Fri 11-6 pm   Sat 10-5 pm

If I did not make reservations, can I still come to the show?

Yes, you can! Come to the box office before the showtime to get your seating tickets!  The earlier you arrive, the better your seat.  Even if you arrive with no reservations at the last minute, we’ll love to have you as long as seats are available.

Can I bring my elderly Mom?  My kids?

Why yes!  Drop your Mom directly at the door so she does not have any steps.  Straight in the door!  Your kids will adore our zany “sitcom” type show that will keep them guessing and all humor is family friendly.   (Read this page for clarity.)

How far in advance do I need to reserve our seats?

As soon as you can. We fill up quickly, but never assume that we won’t have tickets available.  But if you want to come tonight, come tonight!

Are your shows really family-friendly?

This is an important subject for us.  Please read this page for clarity.

Are your shows scary?

No, our shows are comedies, and even though someone is killed, the situations around the murders are fun silliness.  Be sure to meet the actors after the show on your way out.

What are your shows like? What can I expect?

Expect to be entertained.  We do not make any guests do things they don’t want to do or go out of our way to embarrass anyone.  Yes, there is crowd interaction, but the actors use wisdom with their choices.  You can choose to watch and do nothing but enjoy your meal or participate on various levels if you wish.  We have a reputation of being respectful to our audience and going out of our way to entertain so that you’ll tell your friends and come back for more.

Do you serve alcohol?

YES, we do!  We have a full bar!

Do you have a dress code?

Come as you are…or dress to impress.  No code enforced, but hey — why not dress up a bit?!  This is a special night for all of us!

Is gratuity automatically added?

15% gratuity is added for groups of 6 or more. Others are asked to tip their servers on their own.

What discounts are available for military, senior citizens, students, groups, or just because you love me?

We offer a 10% discount to members of the armed forces and to groups of 30 or more.

Do your shows or show times ever change?

No, we have a regular rolling schedule, which is as posted on the home page. The casts are always changing though, so be sure to check out your favorite shows more than once!

Will shows ever be cancelled?

Unfortunately, yes. We do sometimes experience very bad weather, etc that require us to cancel a show.  It’s rare.  If you have already purchased tickets, then we can move you to a different date or refund your money.

If I decide not to come to a show that I paid for over the phone or online, do I get a full refund?

No. We can move your reservation to another date. But if the show has been cancelled, we can give you a full refund.

I love your place.  Can I have an event here with no show?  A private party or reception?

Absolutely.  You can rent our hall at a special date and time.  See our features here.

How Do you do your seating assignments?

First come first serve means we will serve you first if you are here first, but as our theater fills, we have to make tough seating choices.

How do I use these occasional coupons?

One coupon per table per party…no exceptions. We signed up for these coupons as a benefit to the community programs they endorse and if there is any doubt about your particular coupon or pass use, please call the box office to clarify before you reserve.

How do I make sure my big group is seated together?

If you want to bring a large party, you are going to love the show!  But, it is important to make a reservation under one name for the entire group. If you want to pay separately when you arrive, that’s fine.  But, if you or others make separate reservations under different names, they probably will not be assigned to sit together.
